Pastoral Ministry
Our vision is to empower the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to feed the flock. To lovingly shepherd our congregation using spiritual guidance, administration, supervision, and mentoring to make disciples who will become disciple-makers. To edify the body of Jesus Christ for the work of the Holy Spirit as instructed and mandated in the written Word of God.
Word of Life Int'l has taken the lead to encourage young men and women who are making themselves available to continue the work of Christ by organizing workshops, seminars, and biblical education to equip our young leaders for the journey ahead. Learn more about our Pastoral Training.
Outreach Ministry
Before connecting people with God, connect with God about people. And continue to connect with God about people throughout the whole process. Why? -- Because it is Biblical. Because it works. Because it demonstrates love. Because outreach is about God. God provided for the salvation of the world through Jesus' death on the cross. We realize His unconditional love in the book of John 3:16 that God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God is the One who seeks and saves, revealing Himself to people and drawing people to Himself. If God did not do the seeking, saving, showing, and drawing of people to Himself, all of our outreach efforts would be meaningless and fruitless. Click more to learn about Outreach Ministry
Liturgical Ministry
Liturgical Ministry: In 1 Corinthians 12 we are told that "There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone." Through baptism each of us is called to serve God and the community in some way. Young people are especially encouraged to participate in liturgical life as Sunday School Teachers, Ushers and Greeters. Are you gifted in music? Are you an eloquent and commanding speaker? Is hospitality or organization or cleaning your gift? Liturgical ministry offers many opportunities to use your talent or skill to benefit the community in a small but very important way.
Youth Ministry
The vision of our Youth Ministry is to make an impact of God into the daily lives of young people and show them the presence of God. Word of Life Int'l provides young people with the opportunities to explore the mission of the Church to discern their gifts through workshops, retreats, and Bible study. It opens doors to opportunities to use those gifts within the context of community. Our Youth Ministry must be liturgically based on Scripture and gospel values grounded in our community.
Children Ministry
Children's ministry is one of the most important ministries in the Church. It's important because they are our kids. They are the leaders of tomorrow. Children's ministry cannot be just a babysitting service. Children's ministry should have the Church's best and brightest teachers and leaders. We all want the best for our children, yet we grow complacent with accepting anyone with a pulse to teach our kids.
